Company
hammock! is a young and innovative service oriented start-up based in the Southern Caribbean island of Aruba. The services we currently offer are in Tourism and Real Estate. We are working to expand into Marketing. The backbone of our business model is content creation using the latest open source technologies, such as content management system WordPress.org, which helps us to work efficiently and at low cost. It goes without saying that it’s extremely important for us to constantly offer quality content and well thought-out analysis in order to entice the reader, who in turn hopefully becomes a regular visitor. Example of services we currently offer are transportation mediation and real estate consultancy. At the time of this writing our portfolio of websites is at 18.
Goals
Our number one goal is of epic importance, continuity. To guarantee that, we make sure to put the customer ahead of everything else. Furthermore, we are working very hard to further develop our company by constantly adding new services and content. There are many new ideas brewing in our heads, and we’ll develop them when the time is right.
Us
Our philosophy: we only do things we’re passionate about, have fun while doing it and make sure it’s – very – profitable. We work to live, not the other way around.
The type business we’re in requires us to work with many partners, such as our transportation partners and real estate agents. We are forever grateful with their level of professionalism and expertise. Thanks to them we rock harder. The vision, operation and passion behind hammock! are work of Gabriel, Thamara and Reggie.
- Gabriel is the strategist and is known from his blog at arubabeaches.net. He has a background in tourism, economics and real estate.
- Thamara takes care of the operational part and manages the Spanish language side of the company. Her primary project is Inmuebles Aruba [translation: Real Estate Aruba], where real estate services are offered to mostly the Spanish speaking world. Here is where she makes contact with – real estate – partners. Lastly, she has a background in banking, international business and management.
- Reggie is the marketing guru and partner. He owns ArubaSalsa and is very well-known around the island for his awesome performance and service. Additionally he has a nose for the retail business.
